IKEA furniture aims to make instructions as simple as possible, where the customer actively participates in making the final product, and standardization allows state-of-the-art, desirable and low-cost products.

Similarly, if we had a standardized way of collecting and using patient outcomes data, which is easy for patients to use, this would be a game-changer for medical knowledge and healthcare.

This is a world that the H2O are driving towards, with the creation of Health Outcomes Observatories for collecting patient outcomes data!
